day 7 of 7

Finally, the end is near (in a good way). Last night completely sucked. Apparently David filled his diaper shortly after I put him to bed at 7PM. Then around midnight, he awoke in extreme discomfort, and was bawling his eyes out. He had very severe diaper rash, and I ended up having to give him a bath at 1AM, just to sooth him, and clean him up a bit (the diaper also 'leaked'). It was after 2AM by the time I got him calmed down and and back to sleep, and it was after 3AM by the time I fell back to sleep. So I got less than 5 hours of sleep last night.
Today, he was, overall, much better. Work was much slower today, although I did have two stupid, and utterly pointless concalls. David didn't sleep as much as he has been in for his afternoon nap, so I tried to put him down for another at 4:30pm, and he just goofed off in his crib until I rescued him about 10 minutes ago.
At the moment Denise's flight is just crossing into Colorado airspace, and is estimated to land at 07:58 PM(PDT) (about 10 minutes early).
So its back to work for me tomorrow.
