Yeopgijeogin geunyeo
We watched My Sassy Girl(Yeopgijeogin geunyeo) last night. This was the Korean (not the US remake from last year) romantic comedy that basically has a cult following. However, like every other Korean film that I've ever seen, it had some truly bizarre twists(time machines, fantasy sequences, etc). Overall, it was decent, but trying to wrap my head around some of the weirdness occasionally defied my suspension of disbelief. Beyond the weirdness factor, my only other complaint was that it was uneven. There were several scenes that were horrible, and then many others that were excellent. The film is broken up into 3 parts (named, "first half, "second half" & "overtime"). The "overtime" part was definitely the best of the three, with the most grounded story telling & acting.
Previously we watched I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK.
