Valkyrie

I wasted two hours of my life tonight watching Valkyrie. It wasn't so much that it was a bad film. It was merely mediocre. The problem is that it was a film that didn't need to be made. Somehow they managed to stretch about 20 minutes of material out to two hours by adding alot of overly dramatic scenery & music. Tom Cruise was Tom Cruise. He's about as German in this film as he was Rain Man. Unfortunately, it was little more than the Hollywoodization of WW2, with a cast of mostly British actors playing Germans, and only about 6 lines of spoken German in the entire film.
