I saw The Duchess tonight. It told the 'based on a true story' tale of the 17th century Duchess of Devonshire, and the sacrifices that she made during her life in high society England. The story & dialogue was compelling for the first half, but started to fall apart after that point and lost direction. Overall, it felt like they 30 minutes of content, and then stretched it out to 105 minutes.
