Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park

David & I spent several hours hiking today at Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park. We did a balloon hike totalling 6.55 miles. Other than the initial ascent & final descent from the ridge, the trail was mostly gentle rolling hills. We saw a few cows here & there, although they stayed out of our way. There's a beautiful grove of black olive trees that we were very tempted to eat off of, but decided to be cautious rather than risk some kind of food poisoning. The weather was perfect, and the views were decent. I'm not sure whether it was necessarily worth an hour drive each way, but for a free hike, it was a nice day outside.
