After having an awesome breakfast at Hash House, we drove to the Cabrillo National Monument. While we had big plans, the weather wasn't cooperating. After 4 days of perfect weather, it was foggy, cool, and damp the entire day in San Diego. To make matters worse, our plans to go tide-pooling fell apart as low tide was at 8:30AM, and it was too dangerous for the remainder of the day. We still found things to do, but it just wasn't quite the same. We explored the visitor center exhibits, the lighthouse, and hiked the Bayside Trail. David also completed the requirements for obtaining the junior ranger badge.
