Yesterday was the only day this week that wasn't a completely chaotic nightmare at work. This basically meant that I got to catchup on everything that I didn't have time for earlier in the week.
I've been struggling to find a way to embed the current outside temperature in my home webcame picture. Getting the temperature was fairly easy with thisWeather.pl</a> perl script. After that it was just a matter of pulling just the temperature from the output using awk, and then merging that with the date output. Here's the script that does all of that (run from stamp):

I'm not sure what happened, but my left shoulder and neck area is very sore this morning.
