I'm liking the new Passat alot. Its getting amazingly good gas mileage, and accelerates really well too. There are a few minor things that I don't like. The air vents don't blow air evenly (the middle two blow alot more than the left & right), and switching gears (P to R, R to D, etc) isn't terribly smooth.
There was snow on the mountain tops again this morning. It looked really pretty.
This week was a mixed experience at work. We have two customers who have this perverse belief that any time they see the same problem, it means that they need to open a new bug. So if they see bug \$foo on two different systems, there are two open bugs. Its ridiculous and a huge waste of time. But beyond them, the week went ok. I've been trying to get Ubuntu to do an automated installation with kickstart, and haven't been having much luck yet. Its all very poorly documented.
