We had a fairly nasty rainstorm over night, and power was out from around 1AM until just after 2AM. This caused my alarm clock to get reset, and I ended up sleeping 20 minutes late. To make matters worse, there were a bunch of computer related problems. The DSL modem was wonky and needed to be reset. crond on the laptop that powers the two webcams seems to have died for mysteriously reasons, and had to be restarted, even though the laptop actually never lost power. The firewall/NAT/border-router box is all wonky, and isn't updating the dynamic IP hostname that I'm using. I'm still not 100% why its misbehaving.
