xmas

So today was Xmas, the Unix holiday. Or something. I got some really nice food related gifts. A ton of gift cards for Whole Foods, plus alot of dark chocolate. David got an obscene number of toys, which he mostly ignored. He spent the evening running around with a plastic doughnut. Denise & I made latkes for dinner tonight. They were yummy.
I got around to building, installing, & running a 2.6.0 kernel today. It was on my T20 Thinkpad from work, running RH9. Overall it went fairly smoothly, and everything looks to work. Tomorrow morning at 7AM I have to take the car in for its 30k mile service. Hopefully that will be quick and painless.
