tired and happy
Friday was a fairly good day for the most part. Work was somewhat hectic in the morning, but quieted down alot in the afternoon. Even better was that my new computer arrived (except for the harddrive which is lagging by a day). We watched The Big One on friday evening as well. It was mildly amusing, and typical Michael Moore stuff.
Yesterday Chris & I went hiking in Big Basin Redwoods State Park. We had a good time, but I foolishly thought that I could do a 10 mile hike. There wasn't too much of an altitude change, but there was a lot of smaller hills, so climbing them was exhausting, and going down eventually got painful for my feet. We saw many massive redwoods, as well as banana slugs, California newts and some smaller annoying spiders. We were hiking for nearly 5 hours.
