tired
For a short 4 day week, this one felt longer. The heatwave seems to have broken yesterday, where it was actually cool enough to sleep with the windows open last night. David woke up at 5AM this morning crying for no good reason. I changed his diaper and put him back to bed. He then spent the next 2 hours crying off and on so that I never was able to fall back to sleep.
We went to Emma Prusch Farm today. Its a small historic, working farm in the middle of San Jose. We had been once before, and figured that David would enjoy the animals. Denise made a tasty tuna macaroni salad, and we had a picnic. Then David had fun chasing chickens and roosters around for a bit. We also saw a rabbit, a peacock, some pigs and a few ducks. This really large pig (it must have weighed about 300lbs easily) came up to the fence and tried to smell us, and that kinda spooked david a little, cause its huge nose was twictching alot. David also tried to chase this huge duck, and then the duck turned on him, and started hissing.
