i wrecked my feet and loved it
Today Chris and I went hiking to Berry Falls in Big Basin State Park. The hike was 12 miles round trip, which was the longest hike I'd ever done. Chris & I had tried hiking to the falls from the main park entrance a few months ago, and failed because that route had too many elevation changes, and the 5 miles out just wore us down too much. The weather today was perfect. It was sunny, but not too hot, which helped alot. This hike (from the coast) was overall much easier, as it was fairly level except for the last mile. But the distance really killed my legs & feet. I was ok until about half way back from the falls, when my feet & legs just started burning like crazy. I've got about 4 blisters on my feet, but overall we had a good time today.
