the new group

So far this week hasn't been too painful. I've spent an inordinate amount of time in meetings, many of which were long, boring and pointless.
I got an invitation to Orkut today. It was from Tom Mangan who I really don't know at all. I just happened to run across his blog, and he commented that anyone who wanted to join Orkut could email him. From what I know about Tom, he also lives in Dublin (oddly enough), and he's an editor at the San Jose Mercury News. Since I'm feeling generous, and i'm still wondering if anyone at all reads this with any regularity, email me if you'd like me to invite you to join Orkut. To make it a bit more interesting, please make the email interesting, and more than just "invite me!!!!".
