I also watched The Man from Earth tonight. Its basically the story of this guy who claims to have been alive for about fifteen thousand years, and what the experience has been like. The entire film felt more like a play, as 99% of it took place in a single room of a house, with all the characters sitting around & talking. Its certainly was an interesting concept, although there was a bizarre swerve into religious territory about 2/3 of the way through that seemed unnecessary, and didn't add to the overall plot at all.
One thing that really impressed me is that the director of the film is actively corresponding with people on the IMDB forums for the film. I've never seen a single film where this was the case in the past, and I find it rather impressive.
