I saw No Country for Old Men tonight. Definitely another stellar Coen brothers film. There were a number of clear parallels between this film and their earlier Fargo. The law officer tracking the vicious killer, the vicious killer, the impact on the family. Everything was extremely well executed.
Afterwards, I watched The Devil Came on Horseback, which is a superb documentary documenting the genocide in Darfur, Sudan from the photos and first hand accounts collected by an American ex-Marine. Its sickening, although not altogether surprising, that the US government has effectively ignored the situation in Darfur with little more than lip service.
