the end of the weekend
The only 4 day weekend of the year is just about over. I watched the rest of the extended version of The Two Towers last night, and it was quite good with the extra footage. Nearly every single added sequence added depth to the story.
Today I saw Love, Actually. It wasn't bad. A bit predictable at times, but generally amusing.
I finally figured out a very longstanding problem getting my Cisco Aironet wifi cards working with kernels since 2.4.20. Seems that the problem was a lack of ISA support in the kernels I was building, that wasn't neccesary before 2.4.20. At any rate, i've got 2.4.23 happily working with glorious wifi on my crusty old HP Omnibook XE2. Now if only a XFS patchset for 2.4.23 would be released soon, I could proceed with upgrading all my other boxen to 2.4.23.
