I watched Taken tonight. No, not the uneven Steven Speilberg alien miniseries, but the action thriller with Liam Neeson. Its basically the story of this ex-spy whose daughter goes to Paris, and ends up getting kidnapped and sold as a sex slave. The plot sounds a bit hokey, but this was actually well executed. Liam Neeson actually does a surprising good job in a film that requires a ton of fight scenes, and while there wasn't all that much unique or creative in the fights (mostly Bourne knockoffs), there were enough of them to keep things moving.
