so very tired

Last night sucked. About 24 hours ago, i start getting paged that a server is down. When I checked on it, it seemed to be ok. But then I got paged again, so i tried to ssh to it, only to get refused with a vague "ssh_exchange_identification: connection refused by remote host". I couldn't ssh to the server, but it was still serving up web pages just fine. I tried over and over, but the same error appeared every time. I ended up needing to get the server rebooted to bring ssh back. There was an hour wasted. Then I'm awakened at midnight by an ignorant customer who claimed that cvs was down on their server, but of course it wasn't, and they admitted it was likely just a networking problem.
