Last night, Denise's parents watched David and we drove down to Saratoga to eat dinner at La Fondue. As its name implies its a Fondue resteraunt. It was definitely a unique experience. The atmosphere is something like a quirky medieval castle. The service was excellent. We started off with a salad, and then plunged into 3 courses of fondue. The first course was a cheese fondue (cheddar & swiss with garlic & sun dried tomatoes) with bread & veggies for dipping. The main course was a skillet where we chose chicken, turkey, duck, calimari, beef & ostrich to cook up on our table. There were also an assortment of raw veggies & dipping sauces. The last course was dessert, where we had a chocolate fondue with orange, and dipped assorted fruits and snacks. Overall it was quite good.
We drove Denise's parents back to the airport this morning, and then dropped my car off for an oil change. While waiting for it to be finished we went to the library & grocery shopping.
David has got yet another cold. His nose is running.
