sanity & chaos
Friday, finally. I've got all of next week off for the first time in three years. Actually, first time ever (since college, at least). I've already got a large chunk of the week planned with assorted things.
On Wednesday night I saw Swimming Pool. It was odd. Half the problem was that it was half in English and half in French, and there were no subtitles, so I might have missed out on some plot twists that were in French.
This afternoon I went to see Return of the King. It was very good, and possibly the best of the three movies. I'll need to see it at least one more time before I can fully digest all of it. The ending was somewhat weak, because it deviated from the book a bit too much for my test.
Tonight was the first night of Chanukah. Denise got me a bottle of Merlot, and a boxed set of oils & vinegars from Modena, Italy. I gave her a box of chocolates.
