I received my new cell phone yesterday. Its pretty snazzy (especially compared to my 5+ year old Nokia phone). I've started playing with it a little bit. I've confirmed that I can hook it up via USB and mount the 64MB transflash card to access the assorted media (pictures, movies, mp3s, etc). I'm waiting for my old cell number to transfer to the new phone right now, which is supposed to happen by tonight. I've found a few good sites with information on assorted hacks & tweaks for the phone.
In other news, as of yesterday, VW claims to have isolated the problem with my car to a failed valve. They claim that they'll have it fixed by Wednesday. I'll believe it when it happens.
