meetings

Something isn't quite right when I spend nearly half of my work day in meetings. Today was one of those days where I had 4 hours of meetings during the first 6 hours I was in the office. The meetings in of themselves weren't useless, but 4 in one day is a bit much, and cuts into my productivity alot. Another thing I've noticed lately is that when the person running the meeting starts off by saying that "it shouldn't take long", it almost always runs the full hour.
