MacLinux

Today, I spent nearly 5 hours installing SuSE-10.1 on a PPC Mac notebook. It was an interesting experience. I learned that PPC Macs need to have a 'boot' partition that the OpenFirmware can read for the purposes of booting any OS. Beyond that little quirk the installation was fairly uneventfull, although reidiculously slow (5 hours??!?).
