it's never easy

Ever since I went on vacation 3+ weeks ago, Colin has been behaving more weird than normal. At first, it just seemed like he was ignoring me, which in of itself isn't a bad thing, just unlike him. I haven't even seen him face to face since june 18, which basically means it will be over a month before i get to talk to him again, because he's on vacation for the next week. But after a while it seems like he's marked me irrelevant, and he's been walking on my toes left & right. Its almost as if he's not happy with the way i'm doing something, or not doing something, and has decided that he'll just do everything himself now. Beyond the fact that he long ago promised me that he'd tell me if he wasn't happy with something I was doing, its incredibly frustrating. A recent example is when he decided for himself that he didn't like how someone in support was handling a bug from a customer. So he tells that person that they should talk to me and/or escalate the issue to sales, since the customer isn't being responsive. OK, fine, whatever, although i would have preferred that colin went to me directly with the issue. But then about 10 minutes later, he's fired off an email to the sales person, completely ignoring my involvement in the issue. So now i'm stuck sitting on this issue until Colin returns, although who knows how accessible he'll be then.<br />

On Friday I got sucked into an utterly pointless meeting, that started late, and then finished late, meaning that I didn't get out of work until 4pm. Originally, I was planing to get an oil change immediately after work, but since the place I go to closes at 5PM, i was cutting it really tight. Thankfully, I they were completely dead when i got there, and I got the oil change done. If I had not, I would have had to get up early on saturday morning.
When I got home on Friday, Denise made really tasty homemade pizzas for dinner. The crust/doug was nice and dry & crunchy, and the cheese was really gooey.
On Saturday we went to Big Lots, Once Upon a Child, and finally Sam's Club.
This morning I was awakened at 6:30AM by our incredibly rude & inconsiderate downstairs neighbor by loud booming bass music. It continued until just after 8AM, at which point Denise was awakened too. I hate these people so damn much. What I don't understand is why these people can be quiet for months at a time, and then suddenly start up again for a few days or a week or 2, and then go quiet again.
