inglorious basterds

I had the misfortune and stupidity to see Inglorious Basterds tonight. It was long, drawn out, boring, and utterly pointless. They could have shaved an hour off the 2.5 hour run time, and it likely still would have been too long. The dialogue was almost uniformly horrible and pointless. The acting was, at best, mediocre. The plot was beyond ridiculous. I'm all for Jewish, Nazi hunters, looking for revenge, but this film was very little of that, and mostly alot of contrived subplots that added up to nothing. I used to enjoy Quentin Tarantino's films, but this was absolutely atrocious.
