Llama Land

district 9

I saw District 9 tonight. Overall, I liked it, however what bothered me was the abundance of unresolved subplots. There never was a good explanation for how the aliens ended up stranded on Earth (or why they came). Then there's the ending which felt manufactured simply to allow for a convenient sequel. Ignoring the plot holes, the special effects were awesome, and the themes were well constructed.
