hectic craziness
Today was non-stop madness. 5000 things going on simultaneously, and I felt like I was playing catchup all day long. I'm dealing with more Oracle issues, which means spending significantly more time running through test scenarios. I did manage to complete the postgresql upgrade for the trials, which was about the only significant contribution for the day. Found out that VA is definitely planning to move to a smaller facility to reduce costs, so that will most likely be somewhere around Sunnyvale or Mtn View, which means that my commut will prolly double in duration.
I saw the latest Futurama from Sunday last night, and it was definitely one of the best of the season. I also watched the Discovery Channel, Extreme Engineering episode about the Big Dig in Boston, which was somewhat interesting. Unfortunately, the focus of the show is really incredibly watered down from a technical perspective, so its just lots of bragging about how this is the biggest, longest, heaviest ever.
