half a million dollars

Somehow we lost our minds today, and submitted an offer for a house for \$551000. Yes, those are the right number of zeroes, and yes, that is over half a million dollars. The good news is that the house is over 1300 square feet, so at least its a decent size. The bad news, is that its over half a million dollars. What is even more ridiculous is that we don't have high hopes that our offer will be accepted, even though its more than 5% above the asking price. At any rate, we should know by tomorrow night whether its ours.
