I took the Passat into the VW dealer this morning for its 5k mile service, plus to get the squeaking noise that has plagued it since getting the car back from the auto shop last month resolved. Turns out that the problem was due to a missing exhaust bracket. *sigh*
I've got my trip in September finalized. Four national parks in 8 days (Yosemite, Death Valley, Sequoia and Kings Canyon). In addition I'll be going to Mono Lake, The Laws Railroad Museum(I'm hoping David will like this one alot), The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, and the Manzanar National Historical Site.
