FC5 + wifi = b0rk3d

I upgraded another system at home from FC4 to FC5 today, and the carnage is pretty damn bad. Basically, I can't get wifi to work at all on this notebook, and it worked fine before the upgade. I've told the tale in detail here, so I won't bother rehashing it again. *sigh*
