death and taxes

Last nigth I watched Dead Man. This is actually the 3rd Jim Marmusch film I've seen (GhostDog and Broken Flowers, being the other two), and I think I liked it more than Broken Flowers, yet less than GhostDog. Overall it was ok, albeit quite strange at times.
I did my federal & state income taxes today. In a word, ugh. I really need to learn that selling stock options is always bad for my taxes, as I never seem to come out ahead in the long run. Between the state & federal, I ended up paying out about \$2000. feh.
