We saw Coraline last night. This was one really twisted film. The basic premise is that the title character's parents neglect her, and she happens to find this door to an alternate reality where everything is seemingly perfect. Her parents dote on her, she has perfect friends, and her neighbors are fun & entertaining. Unfortunately, things are not as they seem and it quickly turns into a nightmare. The animation was beautifully done, and the voice acting was decent. The story was so dark & twisted, and was definitely not child appropriate material. That said, I enjoyed it.
