cloverfield 9s
I bit the bullet and saw Cloverfield tonight. Every discussion that I've read thus far has been very polarized. Everyone seems to either think this is the best monster film ever, or a horrific piece of crap. I guess I'm special, cause I didn't think it was either. If anything it was a fairly mediocre film, about a silly looking lizard-like monster that is having a bad day, and the boring, self-important twenty-somethings that deserved to die painfully.
After rebooting my brain, I watched The Nines. This was one bizarre, mind bender of a film. The basic premise is that the male character is some kind of god who forgot that he was a god, and as a result, was living life as a mortal until some of his demigods try to jolt him back to reality. There's a bit more to it, but thinking about it is giving me a headache. Anyway, this was definitely a unique story, even if it was more confusing than not.
