busy
Last night I watched The Door in the Floor. It was interesting, although kinda quirky. I think it was a bit overrated in the reviews though.
David actually did ok sleeping outside his crib last night. He did wake up at 6AM, and was talking to himself for about an hour before he started to get upset and started to cry for me to open the door.
Today we went to IKEA, and got david a comforter and sheets for a twin bed. If he continues to do ok we're planning to get him a bed for his birthday in May. After getting back I took a nap in the afternoon.
There's a large group of sheep grazing on the hills just east of here. I'd say there are a few hundred of them. I walked with David down to see them today. While they are quite visible from here, getting closer to them, they're a bit up on a hill which made them difficult to see from the road, although we could certainly here and smell them. I ended up carrying david up the hill to see them. Unfortunately, with all the rain lately, the hill was very muddy, and somewhat flooded. We did get a fairly decent view of them, however, and david wanted to go closer to pet them, but i managed to convince him that these were not the kind of sheep that you pet. Carrying David back down the hill his boots got mud all over my shirt and shorts.
