This makes my 500th post to LlamaLand.
So far this week is going fairly well. I found out today that I get a total of 11 days off for the holidays in December. Dec 23 through Jan 2. I actually have to take 3 of those days as paid time off, but its still 8 days (counting weekends) that I'm getting for free.
This might be a mixed blessing, because Denise & I can't really agree upon or decide on what to do for those 11 days. If it was purely up to me, we'd rent an SUV and go on the back roads of Death Valley. But its not just up to me, and Denise wants to do something 'different', plus she's concerned that there will be bad weather that will end up either blocking the roads or preventing us from seeing anything. At the moment, she's looking at renting an RV and going fishing somewhere. I'm not at all opposed to renting an RV, but the concept of fishing sounds incredibly boring. I did it once in my life, and it was basically just a few hours of completely unproductive boredom.
