Last night we watched The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Overall, it was just plain weird. Admittedly, i've not read the book, so I didn't have any preconceived concepts of what to expect, but it was just weird. I do plan to listen to the BBC radio series at some point so that I'll have a means of comparison.
For the most part, work this past week was good. There was some minor occasional frustration with misbehavior hardware, but overall it went well, and I was productive.
Last weekend, I finished watching the last of the Farscape series. Overall it was interesting science fiction, although it was very uneven. Some episodes were quite bad, while others were very good.
Last night, Denise gave me my birthday presents. It was a very nice assortment of food & wine. She's also going to make me some onion soup on my birthday.
Yesterday, Denise purchased tickets to fly back to Pennsylvania with David to visit her family. We both agree that its a bad idea, although she thinks its bad mostly because she has to fly alone with david both ways, and I think its bad because her mother drives her utterly crazy, and she's going to be trapped there for 10 days.
