what's a wedding?

We went to the wedding of an ex-coworker/friend today. It was kinda interesting attempting to explain to David what a wedding was in a context that he could understand, and I think we failed miserably. At any rate, David was thrilled to get dress up (he wore a tie!). Unfortunately, he wasn't on his best behavior, but thankfully there were quite a few other children his age there, and their behavior wasn't much better so he didn't stand out much.
