wednesday 10/13

We spent the first day wandering down the strip. We parked at the Mirage, and then went to the Venetian, and continued south to the Flamingo. We had lunch at the buffet there, and it was ok, although over priced in my opinion. David had this crazy fixation with all the huge jumbotron marquee's for all the hotels. Every time he saw one he started saying 'movie movie movie!!!!'. It was cute at first, but got annoying after a while. After lunch we crossed the street, and walked through the Bellagio shops, and past Ceasar's Palace where they were finishing up the latest addition to the Forum Shops. Denise wanted to see a show at the Flamingo that night, so we drove down to the MGM Grand, and parked to get half price tickets. After all of that we drove back to the Sahara, and ended up having dinner at their buffet. The Sahara buffet was nothing that great last year, but it was relatively inexpensive. It was still cheap this year, but the quality had dropped even further, and it was really pathetic. I watched David that night while Denise & her sister went to the show. He was fairly well behaved, but there's not much fun to be had in a small hotel room. We watched some bad TV, and ended up going to bed at 9PM.
