trying to forget it all
We went to Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz this morning. There are supposed to be alot of monarch butterflies, but we only saw one dead one. So that was mildly disapointing. The beach itself was beautiful. We were there just before high tide, so there were alot of waves crashing in against the rocky shoreline. I took and uploaded alot of good pictures.
Afterwards we went to the Gilroy Outlet mall. Denise got a new set of pots to replace our rather old, and beaten up, existing pots & pans.
Tomorrow we're planning to go to IKEA to look for a new arm chair and possibly dining room set.
I finished our federal taxes this afternoon. I think I did Schedule D correctly, but I'm not 100% certain. The end result is that we owe about \$700 to the IRS. I still need to do the state taxes.
