the suck runneth over
Today was fairly crappy. Overally, the workload had been mostly managable since Derrick left, but today it was just utter chaos. The phone never stopped ringing, and it was always the dumbest more obnoxious customers with the most annoying questions. On top of that we're having just about no luck finding a qualified candidate to replace Derrick.
David sometimes is the weirdest child. Yesterday afternoon, Denise put him down for a nap, and when she went to check on him a couple hours later, she found him asleep in bed, wearing his fisherman bucket hat. Now he didn't have the hat on when she put him down, so he had to have gotten out of bed, put it on, and went back to bed. So last night, i put him to bed (again, without the hat), and 20 minutes later I hear him trying to open his door. So i go to check out what is wrong, and find him again with the hat on.
Tonight for dinner I made coconut rice. Its no where near as exotic as it sounds. Basically I took the rice mixture that came with a box of Chicken Fried Rice mix (minus the seasoning packet) and added some dehydrated onions & parsley, some corn, and when it was just about done, i add half a can of coconut milk. It came out ok, not great, but ok.
