the sound of blood trickling
I went to the doctor this afternoon, because I've had two bizarre & annoying problems for the past week. Last Monday, out of no where, my neck started to make a popping/crunching sound whenever I turned my head to the right (and back again). It isn't painful, but the sound is incredibly annoying. The other problem is light-headedness that comes & goes at random. For a while I figured that they were related, but now I think its just a coincidence. Anyway, the doctor doesn't think that either is anything serious, or to be concerned about, but had blood drawn just to cover the bases. I've had blood drawn before, but this is the first time that I actually heard the blood whooshing into the vial. That sound is disturbing on so many levels. It was kind of like the sound of pouring water into a glass.
