The Kingdom

I watched The Kingdom tonight. The opening credits sequence was quite possibly the highlight of the entire film. That isn't to say that the rest was bad, but the opening was a very flashy, engaging summary of how Saudi Arabia came into existence over the past 75 or so years. Anyway, the rest of the film was a decent action flic, but a horrible attempt at political commentary. As a few others have said, it was basically Syriana for Dummies.
