the food fights back
I'm not sure what I did to deserve this, but I feel like i've got some nasty food poisoning. I had a fairly innocuous hot pocket and a banana for lunch, and about 2 hours later my stomach started feeling really queazy. Now about 5 hours later, my stomach doesn't feel as bad, but the rest of me feels like complete crap.
In other news, I got my absentee ballot in the mail yesterday. This will be the first election I've voted in since 1998. I'd be perfectly happy to vote every year if it wasn't such much of a hassle. I'm sure folks will line up to lecture me about how I should vote because its a luxery many others on this planet don't enjoy. Sorry, but if voting is a major inconvenience, then I consider that to be a huge problem in of itself. At least with absentee voting, i can do it at my convenience, not the government's. What I'd really prefer is online voting, but all the technologically ignorant politicians are afraid of doing that. They somehow feel that using electronic voting machines are a safer option. rrright.
