I saw The Dark Knight tonight. Honestly, I don't get why so many people were raving about this film. I'm not saying that it was bad, but I'm also saying that it wasn't all that great either. Overall, the plot felt incredibly contrived, and often times directionless. And as for all the Heath Ledger fanboys out there wetting themselves, I really don't get the appeal. I've seen quite a few of him films, and this was, without a doubt, one of his worst performances. It was little more than 2.5 hours of listening to Heath talk as if he was freebasing on Helium, while uttering the most banal dialogue imaginable. Oh, and the bizarro Harvey Dent subplot was pointless and rather boring.
