stuff
A few loose ends to tie up. On the flight out to Pittsburgh, I watched The Triplets of Belleville and the first half of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Belleville was quite odd, but amusing too. There was virtually no dialogue, and the little that there was was in French, but it didn't matter. Spotless was an interesting concept, but it just ran on and on and on without ever going anywhere.
On the flight back to california, I saw Miracle, and it was actually pretty good. I never knew that Kurt Russell was capable of acting, and he did a fine job.
I took David to the park today, and at one point I was chasing after him, and I tripped, and skinned my right knee pretty badly. I've got two quarter sized bloody spots on my knee that hurt like hell. Its been years since i fell and scraped up any part of me. I'll live.
I made salmon steaks for dinner tonight. They didn't come out as well as I had hoped. The salmon was a good price, so we got half a salmon, that I cut into steaks today. That part went ok, although cutting off the fins was a bit tricky. But I didn't plan the cooking right. I put rice with garlic powder & parsley on the bottom of a large baking pan, with water and some soy sauce. Unfortunately, the salmon finished baking long before the rice, so the rice wasn't really cooked at all, and large clumps of garlic powder were stuck in it too. The salmon came out ok though.
