I watched 300 tonight. There's little that I can say that hasn't already been said in most reviews. The visuals are impressive. The story is, well, severely lacking. You have to know going in who is going to win in the end. So its just an exercise in special effects, albeit a great one. Sure, its based on a comic book, but Sin City was as well, and it was a hell of a lot more interesting.
