I saw Romulus My Father tonight. I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to watch this film. I guess I was expecting something entirely different, but instead I got this slow as molasses story about a ridiculously unstable, dysfunctional family, and the boy who somehow manages to come out of it with his sanity in tact. What boggles my mind more is that its apparently based on a true story. What kind of crackhead decided that this true story was worth filming?
