I watched Red tonight. At its core was a fairly decent story, although the subplots were stupid & pointless. The one disappointing thing was how completely misleading the trailer was. It made the film out to be this tight, fast paced thriller, when in reality it was fairly slow & meandering.
Afterwards, I saw The Art of Travel. The basic premise is this kid out of high school, who decides to skip college so that he can find himself as he backpacks through latin america. However, it was basically a long, yet nice Lonely Planet travel video. A bit light on substance, and for people bushwhacking through a South American jungle, no one was ever breaking a sweat or even dirty. But all the same, it was enjoyable.
