one down

So the first week alone is just about down. Thankfully the commute on Tuesday was the worst of the week, and tonight was actually better than normal for a Friday night commute.
I just finished making a grannysmith crimson prickly pear pie. 8 apples, quartered, and 3 crimson prickly pears, diced, plus the usual sugar, cinnamon, ginger, lime juice & flour. Its in the oven right now, and I'll be taking it with me to the pre-Thanksgiving party tomorrow night at a coworker's house. At this point, I'm pretty exhausted from working in the kitching for over an hour.
